Magnetic Field Generator Using Surface Plasmon

We propose to use a curved dielectric waveguide to couple the light into a metallic micro-ring to excite the surface plasmon in Otto-configuration. Since the charge is positioned on the metallic micro-ring, the propagation of the surface plasmon polaritons could push the charge to generate a current and to induce a magnetic field at the center of the metallic micro-ring. The structure is simulated by COMSOL Multiphysics.
