Pedestal and Noise Study in 2016 Test Beam Experiment of CMS High Granularity Calorimeter

We study the noise of the silicon sensors for the CMS High Granularity Calorimeter (HGC) using the data collected during the test beam runs at CERN in August and September 2016. The noise is studied in different levels: raw data, after pedestal subtraction, and after common mode noise subtraction. The correlation of different readout channels is also studied. Different configuration of detector setups are tested for our hypothesis for the observed phenomenon in test beam data.
