Using Worksheets in Physics Courses

Using worksheets in teaching is one of the effective approaches to guide students’ learning, help students master the course content, and activate teaching. In this presentation, applications of worksheets in a physics and chemistry course in Shan-Jiao Junior High School and a physics course in National Taipei University of Technology are shown . It was found that using worksheets in a junior high school physics and chemistry course effectively guide students to master key points of content. Using worksheets also strengthen students’ attention on learning and make it easy for a teacher to handle teaching processes well. It is interesting that using worksheets in a university physics course also reveals these advantages. Besides, using worksheets has considerable help for class management in a university physics course, especially the degree of students' attentiveness and attendance.
